Do these rallies legitimize fears? If drug crime is your fear then the answer is a resounding no. 150,000 or so people, ostensibly drug users, crammed into a tiny park (myrtle edwards park is TINY for that crowd), and nobody so much as had their car stereo stolen. This is the greatest message we could possibly send. The idea that these rallies send the message that people might actually use pot if it's legalized? Well....they already do. And people (gasp!) are already aware of it. Man, this guy's fooling himself. We are making our point to the people, even if our leaders are deaf.
