    Medical cannabis should be priced justly

    I read with interest the story “Witness to a death” (Aug. 6) regarding an alleged home invasion to steal medical marijuana. If the price for the medicine weren’t so outrageous, people wouldn’t be killing each other over it. I pay rip-off prices for my pot from greedy growers/ providers: $50 for a small amount. If I were to buy a pound at the same price rate, it would cost me $6,400, though it would probably cost no more than $10 to grow. My insurance does not cover it and I can’t grow it myself due to my medical condition. I am a legal medical pot user who has serious nerve damage and ALS-like symptoms. My pot is supplied by a medical pot delivery service that pays state taxes.

What price are YOU willing to place on YOUR freedom? What about your family? Your job? Your house, car, bank account, your spouse's job? Your children?Don't call growers greedy, you better be glad these people are willing to take the risks they do. These folks do this for love of the plant, believe me, contrary to the lies, no one I know is getting rich. Show some gratitude.

dude take that 10$ and buy a clue a)by the slight chance you have a nack for growing you would not be able to produce the same grade as your despensery !b)its about 3,600 to 5,000 a pound!

Man get a clue. How can you speak on something you know nothing about, grow your own then consciously post something like this...you can't because growing your own ain't cheap dude, at least not at first trust me.
