so yeah um THC is not illegal. The plant itself is. Thats why we cant produce our own hemp. idiots.

This is complete crap.. I'm not sure who came up with this but it was one hell of a way to get a bunch of traffic to their website and stir up a bunch of commotion. Besides these other plants would still be illegal because any plant containing any amount of THC is illegal under united states law. This is why Hemp is illegal cause it still contains a small amount.

read into the story about the guy that made oranges produce thc and eating them got you high. he sold as many seeds as he could before he was terminated. story goes like that but not exactly. you get the idea and it's 100% true

This does seem a little far fetched, but somewhat feasible if done at the seedling stage. $5 for a bottle that will do this to 6,000 seedlings is to good to be true. This article was originally made public on June 1st and they state they will release this spray called Genie Mist in few weeks. I still have not found anything on this. But for $5 I'll give it a shot. The one thing they didn't say was if all plants will produce trichomes, this may effect the plant drastically, and my guess is evolution would need to take its course before any viable product was made.

When I posted this I didnt know if it was real or not thats why I wanted to submit it to get feedback if anyone knows more about this, cause this sounds like marinol all over again and I cant see this working, there is nothing bad with smoking marijuana other than inhaling heat into your lungs which kills your brain cells, not the marijuana or the THC, so why not smoke it or ingest it normally?

This sounds like snake-oil to me. The genes for thc, thcv, cannabinol and cannabidiol are not simple. They probably reside on different sites and on different chromosomes. Also, the precursor chemicals are made into their final forms within the bulbous trichome. Itself an 'organ' of the cannabis plant...an organ that most other plants lack. The problem arises with the end user, however. This is not a scheme without potential victims. Marijuana is safe to smoke. We have thosands of years of proof of this. I don't have any experience with the health effects of smoking a Boston Fern...do you? DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR LUNGS!
