Marijuana shown to block Alzheimer's

As long ago as 2005, the British Broadcasting Corporation were reporting the fact that the active ingredient in cannabis, THC, could possibly slow or even stop, the mental decline a patient suffers after Alzheimer's Disease is diagnosed and yet today, in 2008, we're still no nearer the facts, or the truth.

Alas, the makers of Aricept probably quashed it. :( I find it disgusting that marijuana is still illegal in many areas of the world when the majority of the population wants it legal...a case of the few dictating the needs of the many.
